We understand how busy life can get and how confusing funded hours can be too, so we are always happy to work with you to see how we can get the funded hours supporting your eventful lives.
15 hours funded childcare is provided across the 38 term time weeks. We can of course stretch this to cover the 50 weeks of the year we are open.
2-year-olds. Some children are eligible to the funded hours based on parental benefits and circumstances, the child has a disability living allowance or a special educational need. The child has a guardianship order or is looked after by the local authority. Find out of you are eligible by looking at www. Childcarechoices.gov.uk
All 3 and 4 years old are entitled to 15 hours funded childcare, from the term after their 3rd birthday.
30 hours funded childcare. For working parents.
Parents must have a combined income of less than £100,000.
Be working for at least 16 hours a week.
As the government funding does not cover consumables such as meals, nappies and essentials we do add a consumable charge to funded hours to ensure your child has the best experience.

How this could look…..
15 hours term time only
3 x ½  day sessions week. 5 hours a day at no cost to parent. Consumable charge applicable
3 full days a week. 1.5 days at no cost to parents, consumable charge applicable. 1.5 days charged at the standard nursery rate.
15 hours a week whole year care
Stretching your hours means you would get 11 hours a week. This could be split over our full and half day sessions.
2 days a week = 1-day funded hours no cost to parents with a daily consumable charge applied. 1 day charged at the nursery session rate -1 free hour.
3 ½ day sessions a week. 5 hours a day at no cost to parents with a consumable charge.
30 hours a week term time only
3 full days at no cost to parents with a consumable charge applied.
2 full days and 2 ½ days at no cost to parents with a consumable charge applied.
30 hours full year care
Stretching your hours means you would get 21 hours a week. Again, this can be split to support your working schedule.
3 full days. 2 days at no cost to parents with a consumable charge applied. 1 day charged at standard nursery rate -1 free hour.
2 full days and 2 half days. 2 days at no cost to parents with a consumable charge applied. 2 half days charged at standard nursery rate -1 free hour
4 full days. 2 days at no cost to parents with a consumable charge applied. 2 days charged at standard nursery rate, which is a fully inclusive price -1 free hour.

- Surcharges are applicable to term time only places but we magic this cost into free summer session so we can keep in touch with our little ones!
- Don’t forget to set up your tax free childcare account! For every £8 you pay in the government will top it up by £2, up to £2000.
UPDATE……
Following the government budget announcement on childcare funding working parents will have access to 30 hours of subsidised childcare for 38 weeks of the year from when the child is 9 months old.
This will be rolled out in stages:
April 2024 -Working parents of 2 years old can access 15 hours funded childcare.
September 2024 – Working parents of 9-month-olds up to 4 yrs. can access 15 hours funded childcare per week
September 2025 – all working parents of 9 months to 4 yrs. can access 30 hours funded childcare.
